My policy has been all messed up my husband was supposed to be added on my policy on Sept 5, 2020 he past away in a wreck Sept 18,2020 only thing added was truck also my 2012 Nissan was supposed to be removed Sept 5 when I added 2008 Dodge none of this was done and I'm not happy at all

Sent us a check for 275$ to cover our cancellation fee for last month, still charged us 60$ for just a single day's worth of coverage.

d love to leave them a zero star rating, but i cannot. They quoted my wife and I a premium of 94$ per month.

Our premiums then spiked to over 300$ per month. She has no accidents, and no tickets on her driving record. Their billing is terrible, (would always charge a different amount every month), and their customer service is even worse. On top of that, they have a bunch of hidden fees.

You get charged for non drivers, extra drivers, paying electronically, or via check, charged for a physical statement, and charged for a digital one. Again, they dont lump all that into one charge, and they bill weird amounts. some months we would have up to 5 different charges from them, and when you ask their customer service what they are, they don't give you a straight answer. If you are considering them for insurance, find another company.

They left me on hold for over an hour one day, and told me that i couldnt speak to them about my wife and i's policy because she was the account holder. Absolutely terrible company, and they should be ASHAMED of themselves.

Bristol West/Foremost County Mutual acted in bad faith in the valuation of my total loss vehicle. They knew I had no remedy, other than court, to dispute the evaluation provided by their 3rd party adjuster (CCC) and refused to recognize the 3rd party valuation provided by me. Although the difference in our valuations was small in context to the overall claim, they would not recognize my position and refused to discuss any middle ground, mediation or settlement that would satisfy both of us. Getting in touch with them or getting returned phone calls was difficult. Even Enterprise rental couldn't get a returned call and had to charge my card almost $700 for rental charges.

Refuse of Coverage

My windshield cracked today. I live in one of the few states where your deductible is waived for windshield replacement. Those states being FL, KY, and SC. None of the auto glass companies will take my Bristol West insurance policy, when it's clearly a law in FL that it should be covered in my deductible.

I MAKE MY PAYMENTS ONLINE THROUGH THEIR Website. THEY WENT INTO MY ACCT AND DEBIT IN JUNE(I ALREADY MADE JUNE Payment IN MAY). THEY DID IT AGAIN IN JULY This TIME TWICE A CPL HOURS APART ON JULY6. AGAIN I MADE MY ONLINE PAYMENT ON JULY3. THEY are Saying OH JUNE IS THE CLEARING Payment FROM MAY 31. AND JULY TWO PAYMENTS IS FOR JULY. I SAID NO CAUSE online clears the same day. You guys went in and debit june2 and twice on July 6 a cpl hours apart. They refunded me a payment from July 6, but now say I still owe for Aug, and Sept. How when you took out June and I pd June in May and you got 3 payments in July(yes they refunded one payment in July back), but that still is 2 payments of mines they got ( the June and a July payment) June debit they took and July 6 debit they took ( x2). Remember I pd All online. They act like they can't comprehend it. Going to say on June 2 was for June. I said so what was May 31 payment for? Crickets was all I heard. Then another rep says oh the June is the clearing of May 31. I said lies you guys went into my acct June 2 after my May 31 payment cleared on May 31. Same with July. Can never speak with accounting dept. Now I can't see my payments on their website when I log in: Now I have to email accounts dept. I've been calling them since beginning of July.

We were neve reimbursed for three car seats even though we were told we would be , and looks like we won't be getting reimbursed for the $1000 dollar deductible either.Keep leaving messages no one returns calls , tried to add another vehicle agent doesn't return calls either, I can take a hint ... new insurance has higher coverage and 40% cheaper should have changed company's a long time ago !check

Cancelled my policy as I found great insurance literally almost half the cost of bristol west. Due to 1 day late a notification on my policy with them. They charged me a 30 dollar policy fee. I called to complain and the phone person alicia said nothing she could do. I asked for a supervisor and waited a very long time realizing they would not p/u the phone....30 dollars is nothing to them but it is to me..do not use this company. They dont care about people, only money!!!

If you want an insurance agency you can get into contact with no problem bristol west isnt right for you its a hassle to get anyone on the phone. The insurance is good just to say you have insurance but if you have liability dont expect them to do a thing or go out of their way to assist their customers. Customer service sucks. Worst car insurance Ive ever had!!

Oh and I got a much better company now who I have had no issues with. Easy to get ahold of no hassles.

Do their job and treat the customer like a priority. If I’m paying you I’m a customer I expect to be treated atleast decently but some companies just hire whoever.

Its lower tier insurance for people who cant get regular insurance due to poor driving history, multiple accidents, DUI's, suspended licenses, collections for non payment, SR22 etc...the fact that they take that risk when other companies wont should be a factor before you complain

If you only have liability coverage you are covered if you damage someone else's vehicle. They dont owe you service for your vehicle or handling a claim if you dont have the proper coverage. Learn how insurance works before you complain.

It wouldn’t have been as big of an issue but bristol west employees offered no help I guess that’s why there are so many complaints.. can’t make *** insurance company look good.

Y’all just probably work there. Also I have a clean record no accidents or duis and I have money I just didn’t wanna pay a fortune for insurance and chose a *** company.
