Bristol West Insurance - How Can They Call Farmers/Bristal West Auto Insurance?
How Can They Call Bristol West Insurance? I had two claims with them over a 3 year period.
The first one I was at a stop sign. A bus hit me. They would not pay for thousands in damages. They said I was beyond the white line at the stop sign and the bus clipped the front end of the car. The bus hit me because he was speeding, on the phone and jumped a curb. He almost killed a guy in the bike line when he vere3d and jumped the curb. Indeed I was but was not cited for the accident the bus driver was. I was beyond the line so I could see beyond the building to see the traffic so I could enter the main road.
Second accident I was broadsided by one of those people who thinks the car is a traveling phone booth. All they paid for was sheet metal work on the side that was hit. They would not cover the damages to other areas of sheet metal and would not cover any mechanical or electrical or audio issues that the accident caused. I was left to cover about $4200 in damages. What the *** do I pay them almost 2 grand a year for?
In FL the new auto insurance laws make the car owner prove electrical, mechanical and any other uncovered damages were caused by the accident. The break shop who just put in new calipers, rotors and pads all the way around told me both front calipers were damaged. Yesterday one caught fire and by the time I got off the highway all 4 breaks were fried. Now I get to waste another $2000 on new breaks.
What really upsets me is these two NOT at fault accidents, both caused by drivers txting (they admitted it) I am now listed in NEXUS insurance data network with the two NOT at fault accidents and now all other major insurance companies want twice the rate and Bristol still keeps me at the same annual premium.
I am about to move out of this foreign country called Florida and move back to the states. Laws in FL suck. Yep... that is how Zimmerman got off. Crazy people making crazy laws.
